Charles Leon Thompson
I’ve lived in NYC for 12 years, exploring the city by bicycle, subway and walking, always with a camera, always with my eye on details. My background is in architecture, so I think the sensibilities you achieve while looking at the world through that lens are strong and unique. The ideas of light and shadow, solid / void, notions of materiality, a sense of place, it all comes through me as I shoot to produce the work you see here.

I shoot architecture and nature, building details and facades, flowers and leaves, exploring the parks and cityscape I call home.
